Another update on Anvil, its nearing to an end :) Still waiting for some assets to finish some loose ends, but they will be ready soon. Anvil is so big I can show some different shots each time :)
Hi there, welcome to my personal Blog, an evergrowing collection of my work as a modder of Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind. I have my own mod: City of Balmora: Hlaalu Expansion, and I work for two other province mods called; Province: Cyrodiil and Skyrim Home of the Nords. In the past I have worked for Tamriel Rebuilt. I love your great work and effort on this project! please continue working on this amazing project! Thanks for all of your work!
ReplyDeleteThank you very much for your support Britneys, its much appreciated :)
DeleteFine piece of work here!
ReplyDeleteDo you have a concept map of the city? Would've been really interesting to look at the general geography, the port and the streets layout -- if it's not "classified" material, of course.
TY Red Spy :) I can only do that when every interior has been named and assigned for interioring and NPCing, as changes still can be made.
DeleteI ment something like a design document -- something that you keep before your eyes or in your mind when you work in CS. I know I usually make a plethora of hand-drawn maps to set the general plan, the heights and form the overall aesthetics; wondered if you do the same.
DeleteThere is only one handdrawn overview map for general outline..nothing in there about the quarters or buildings, just an outline shape. We design cities on our forms, where everyone can join the discussion. Quarters and content are designated and the city builder puts them in place in an aesthetical and convenient way (e.g. what should be close to one another like shops and markets, harbour and inns etc.) Only a small part of Anvil has height differences... the lighthouse peninsula and the castle. In all its a team effort, and I realize that by building it. Even during the process of building I post screens and overviews to finetune everything.
